sorry it's been so long since my last post guys, anyway, the reason i've posted this was to tell you guys how to turn most any 4door or 2door car,van, or suv into a makeshift APC.
firstly you'll need supplies,such as  scrap metal to make the armour out of(preferably aluminum trashcans, aluminum body-panels from cars,etc),metal piping, a welding torch set, and something to cut the metal with(grinders,plasma cutters, blow torches).all of that stuff can be found by raiding home hardware/home depot outlets, or by looting abandoned houses or ransacking abandoned cars.

now what your gonna do is;
1)measure the body panels of your car and transfer the shape/measurements to the scrap metal and cut them out.
2)weld the cut pieces of metal to your vehicle, making sure you can open the doors.
3)weld the pips over the grill and radiator creating a improvised set of bully bars.

you sholud now have a armoured vehicle that's ready to plow through zombies, light barricades, and the rotting support beams of a house.
always be on the look out for things to augment into the armour,such as roof hatches,winches,floodlights,etc.
and remember tocheck the armour everytime you stop for the night for signs of damage and try to repair them as best as possible.

barrier buliding for dummi-urm survivors

okay guys,i'm back and as promised i'm showing how to make a temporary barrier to protect your hideout.
all you're gonna need is:
250 ft of steel chain
20-40 totalled/useless cars and trucks
old furniture(lots of it)
lots of pad locks
2-4 big trees(to anchor barrier)
if you don't have trees, power poles
300+ft barbed wire

step1) drag/drive/tow vehicles into position around parimeter
step2)loop chain around trees/power poles and lock in place(one endonly!!!)
step3)loop other end of chain around front and rear axles and lock chain in-place around other tree/power pole
step4)place furniture in gaps between vehicles
step5)use barbed wire to anchor furniture to cars
step6) take left over wire and chain and wrap it around cars
step7)this is the fun part-BURN THE FURNITURE!!! >=D

'Z' day +14 8:51pm

hey guys,just finished the temporary barricades around my house,it ain't pretty but it should hold them off while i finish modifying my escalade into a make shift tank.i've gathered enough MRE's to last 3 weeks,a few melee weapons,1 shotgun, 100 shotgun shells,and 3 good friends(alex,josh,and zack-zack and i are more of aquaintances than friends but he's one of the strongest guys I know).*mixed machinegun fire,shotgun blasts and small explosions* what the he- "hit the deck!" alex yells,*continued combat noise*.Sorry about that guys, raiders,luckily for everyone they buzzed-off after we killed 2-3 of them,well atleast we got their guns and ammo...SH*T! THOSE MOTHER F*CKERS! they blew a hole the size of manhattan in my barricade!
dang,sorry guys,gotta go rebuild my barricade >=(.
